Hi everyone!!!! I’m on holiday at the moment (nauseating I know). So instead of publishing nothing on Unbounded, I thought I’d share something from the archives of another project I’m involved in. Bristol Talks Economics is a seminar series targeted at students at Bristol University, but during the pandemic, we opened up our seminars anyone who fancied watching online.
My interview with Professor Cunningham was something of a hangover from that era, being broadcast in February this year to a live audience of students, which proved a bit awkward, but is still something I really enjoyed and think is worth a watch. Scott Cunningham has made a name for himself in the field of causal inference, and our conversation serves as a useful introduction to that field, although it does only scratch the surface!
If you’re interested in finding out more I definitely recommend Causal Inference the Mixtape, which is not only accessible to new students of applied research, but something I wish I’d had on hand when I was wading through the ever-expanding TWFE literature for my undergrad dissertation.
Thanks for reading so far and I will return later this month with more pointless economics discourse.
